TEXAS ROLLERGIRLS

The Texas Rollergirls is a non-profit, public charity, amateur sports organization dedicated to playing and promoting the sport of Women's Flat Track Derby. Here are some of the photos from the 2008 Calendar shoot for the Hot Rod Honeys.

HOT ROD HONEYS

The Honeys took a day trip to the bigger oval track to get photographed for their 2008 calendar. Several classic car owners drove down to have their cars used as props. Jim from Street Rods Forever took his '38 Chevy coupe.

It's appropriate that these classic cars are part of the scene, since the sport began in the 1930's. Roller Derby has seen a resurgence in the past few years and is the subject of the Drew Barrymore feature film, Whip It!
