Star Rod & Custom Round Up, an annual event in Austin, Texas sponsored
by the Kontinentals. As a vendor at the 2005 event, it was only possible to
snap quick shots from the booth as the cars and people went by.
Originally held at a park next to Town Lake in downtown Austin, the show has grown dramatically in the past few years and now is held at the sprawling Travis County Expo Center. Even in the early years of the show, cars came from all across the country to participate. The 3 day event includes plenty of live music both at the show and at some of Austin's best night clubs. Saturday night is cruise night downtown on Congress Ave and hundreds line the street to see the seemingly endless parade of hot rods pass by.
